Hilery Dorrian Bowel Nosodes Presentation
At the Florida Homeopathic Society 2020 Conference
The microbiome and its role in our overall health will be thoroughly explored. First, we will look at all the features in a sample case study that may suggest the patient would benefit from judicious use of a bowel nosode. The nosodes will then be individually investigated through a detailed look at their various symptoms, followed by a differential comparison. Potency choice, as well as frequency and repetition of dose, will be assessed. Use of other homeopathic remedies that support the action of bowel nosodes will be surveyed. Epidemics in Perspective with Robin Murphy, ND & Ronald Whitmont, MD

Dr. Murphy: This presentation covers the components of case taking, using nosodes and prescribing for epidemics. Examples of case taking and prescribing for epidemic flu and convalescence will be discussed. Discussions include differentials, symptomology and protocols to help homeopathic clinicians prescribe.
Dr. Whitmont: This presentation reviews the human microbiome and how it is critical to the understanding both acute and chronic inflammatory illness. The relevance and advantage of using homeopathic medicine in the treatment of illness will be contrasted with conventional allopathic treatment.

Hilery Dorrian - Homeopathy & Traditional Chinese Medicine
At the 2023 Florida Homeopathic Society Annual Conference
We will study the basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and how it relates to homeopathy. Our examination of the two will include an understanding of Qi (Chi) and the vital force. We will also look at the concept yin & yang and how it pertains to homeopathy. We will cover the functions of each organ and many remedies to illustrate homeopathy and TCM similarities. We will also briefly survey the five elements philosophy, the Chinese time clock and facial diagnosis, as well as a fascinating look at oriental diagnosis and how it can help us in homeopathic case taking and remedy selection.
